I qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2000 from Salford University and started my career in the NHS at Scarborough Hospital. I have also worked in private practices and in the Ministry of Defence, both in the UK and overseas. I first started using acupuncture for pain relief in 2001 and since then have realised how acupuncture can help to treat so many more conditions than just musculoskeletal injuries.
I studied for 3 years at the Northern College of Acupuncture and completed a Master’s of Science degree in acupuncture. Continuing my learning is essential to me to ensure the best care is given to my patients and I regularly attend courses to further my knowledge and progress my skills. I am also a tutor on the biomedicine team at the Northern College of Acupuncture.
I am licensed to practice acupuncture in the Ryedale and East Riding of Yorkshire areas and I hold full professional indemnity insurance.
